Updating Email After Auth0 With Dead Email
If you want to change your email then we need to verify you have access to that account - The normal email change requires read access to both old and new email - but since you do not have read access to your current email used to login to GEDmatch (it is a dead email) the way we can do this is for you to login and create a tag group "Verify Email Change Request"
You can do this by:
1) Logging into your account
2) On the home page in the profile section click the "Manage" button.
3) On the next page click the "Tag Group Management" button
4) On the "Create Tag Group With Kits" section - in the field with "Enter Descript" put in a description of "Verify Email Change Request"
5) Click "Click To Set Color" button and set a color.
6) Click "Add Tag Group"
7) Send a request to support@gedmatch.com with the following information:
- The current "dead" email address
- The new email address
