If you are having trouble logging in to GEDmatch, please
reset your password using the instructions below (your email address is your
login ID and it may be best to do this on a desktop or laptop computer as
opposed to tablet or phone):
PASSWORD RESET
On the GEDmatch login page, enter your email address and click “Continue”:
Click the “Reset Your Password” link
On the next page, enter your email address. Note: this must be the same email
address with which your GEDmatch account is currently registered.
Go to your email account you use for the email address and click the link the
reset email. If you do not see an email yet, please check your spam, junk, and
other email inbox folders, or check this article for further troubleshooting steps.
Clicking the link in the email will take you to a new webpage where you will enter the new password you want twice, and then click on "Reset Password" to save your new password.
